Working with wire

A 2D simple birdcage made with old welding rods and wrapped with copper wire for colour, detail and to hold the shape together. Embellished with miniature paper roses in bright colours

Mixed Media Ink Drawings

These three pieces are primarily made form Indian drawing ink, then coloured and shaded with a combination of water colour, pastels, and charcoal  

Ceramic Flowers

These are examples of a small rose fired with iron oxide, a carnation with manganese and a lily with a clear glaze all made with stonewear clay 

Machine embroidery on vanishing muslin

Using an embroidery hoop I have created these pieces on a sewing machine and by

washing away the vanishing muslin to leave a final product of sewing work
